My Craptop

I'm running Windows XP SP3 32-bit on a Dell Latitude D810 with an Intel Pentium M 2.13 GHz processor, 2 gigs of RAM, and an ATI Radeon Mobility X600 graphics card. My desktop is apparently having some heating issues, so until I get around to taking care of that, I've been having to get used to gaming on a far inferior machine. The experience certainly hasn't made me appreciate ATI any more, now that I'm forced to use their graphics card. I can't really take too much of a side on the ATI vs Nvidia war, but to be honest, Nvidia has never let me down. For all I know, it's because most games are made FOR Nvidia. I have a feeling it's sort of like Linux - The concept is sound but it just doesn't have the support it needs. The good news is, I'm finding lots of stuff that can run on low system requirements, so really, it's more of a forced opportunity than a curse. Ok, yeah, it is a curse, but there are some good points to it. I tend to look for "the best" of certain software - or at least the best for my needs. That being said, let's talk about my newest search for "the best" of my needs...
